Description
The titular heroes stood in front of Megakat City Hall for a press conference. Cameras were fixed on them, including Ann Gora from Kat's Eye News. They'd been asked the usual "hero" questions on how it felt having to constantly save the city from all its evil bad kats, and handling those jobs better than Commander Feral's Enforcers (which Feral didn't take kindly), and what it took to be considered "heroes." At the very end of the conference, T-Bone and Razor decided to reveal their deepest secret, something only the Metallikats knew beforehand. Broadcast live, the two kats proceeded to take off their helmets and masks, revealing to the public just who were behind those vigilante alter-egos. To both Feral and Deputy Mayor Briggs, at least, two ex-pilots/mechanics came to mind.

"We're the SWAT Kats..."And that was what I came up with behind this image. Again, I really wanted to make this appear like it came straight from the show proper (and captured on 90's TV, or VHS/VCR). This was another "what if?" story I thought of, where what if the SWAT Kats unmasked themselves before Commander Feral or the other villains in the show could do so. I think that would've had a much larger impact than usual, considering that move on its own could either be the single bravest thing they could ever do as heroes of Megakat City, or the absolute worst thing to do, as heroes of Megakat City. This was mostly inspired by the scene in the Marvel Civil War comics where (SPOILER!!) Spider-Man did the same thing.
