Continuing my March of the Mascots. I think I'll do one ever two to three days from now on rather than one a day. Quality over quantity.Here's a nice little obscure gem. This is Captain Havoc from the Sega Genesis game High Seas Havoc by Data East. This is another game that could be classified as a Sonic clone. However unlike most Sonic clones (like Bubsy) the folks at Data East seem like they had some idea what made Sonic popular/fun to play while also adding their own touches to make an enjoyable game. The game has a lot of atmosphere and a very cartoonish sense of humor. I recommend checking it out.
Havoc himself is a pretty cool character. An anthropomorphic pirate seal. Only in the 90s, am I right?

I always thought of Havoc as a pirate hunter rather Tha just a pirate. I always thought him and Tide spent their time fighting pirates rather than doing any plundering of their own.
