'Nera, I'm Tired. And going to bed. Will you join me?'C.S. Notes: Just a fast sketch, I had a rough day. Car had issues, so I got to spend a lot of money to secure a rental vehicle, and now await the butcher bill for the repairs. On top of that, I did not get the work I needed done today done, let alone even touch it. And, the list is still growing. Add the stresses of work on top of all that, as I work in a very high stress environment. How stressful, well being shot at was a little stressful, just a little. ^^ But this one is beginning to reach that stress point.
Buuuut, you didn't come here to listen to me rant, you came for the art. So here's today's quick whip. And summarizes how I feel right now.

I bounced back, it was just a really rough day and it took its toll.
A fist full of biotin and a cup of coffee later and happiness leaked back in.

At the door, Nera answers, smiles at you while raising a finger to her lips, and transfers Amenii to her arms. With her free hand she musses up your hair, and smiles, mouthing the words 'Thank you.'

Code...just take a break. You do a LOT of really great work. But that takes a lot out of a body. ANd there are so many other things to work on right now.

I still dream of being on the DMZ some nights. Not very pleasant, I can assure you. But yes - humansΒ need breaks or they get all sorts of freaky.

Funny thing, I never really had that much trouble, well save for a few really crazy days, and nights. One jumps to mind in particular.
I was off duty, and had gone off base to the town, figuring with the rest of the guys, okay not a big issue. Until, somehow, still trying to figure out how, I manage to get lost. And I do not speak a word of the local dialect. Great.
Much wandering later I managed to find my way back, but not before a stray cat, scrawny, and pitch black, decided to adopt me. Funny sight we made, me cradling a cat that wanted nothing but to purr and share whatever I was eating. I ended up keeping that cat, tedious story, but she is now pushing 20 lbs, and is solid muscle now.
