Lol ah, truly a classic. My personal favorite version of that technique was demonstrated in the Original series Star Trek. Where, the officers have gone back in time. 'Excuse me sir, what is that hideous creature on your shoulder?' Right before the poor guy gets Vulcan neck pinched.
