Description
I walked down to the rocky beach today, it was not as I recalled composed of small stones that forced one to wear shoes or sturdy boots for comfort. But instead, I am met with large smoothed stones warm to the touch and sand. Sand fills in the cracks, and works its way up to the base of the rocky mountain foot.
It was nice to see that some of the old species I planted have not completely gone away. Some like the tundra cotton seem to have flourished, and grown to several times their normal size. I will have to begin harvesting some of their tufts as to trade as I am quite sure I can fetch a fair price.

Thought it took some time to excavate I managed to secure a fragment of my past, an older telescope for viewing the heavens through. With a little luck, the weather will hold.

As fate would have it no such luck. Clouds blew in with the evening, and though dark at times I have yet to be rained upon. The temperature has dropped several degrees though forcing be indoors to start the fires.
Wood here is scares, and with the tram system down, most likely destroyed by weather, I find myself having to conserve resources. Tomorrow, I shall begin to see how bad the damage is, and if any repairs can be made.
