Description
A very old comic about leeches, from the comic Bee Leech Grasshopper, not that I expect any of you to remember this as it is that old and I never gave it the love it deserved. Anyways, that cute little guy is my depiction of a Leech.Related content

Lol! You too huh? Our running joke was, we could do more damage with a 8 oz ballpoint hammer and a pair of calipers that anyone could ever imagine. And that would be nothing. What really got me out was when the new laws came out and I kid you not they were read to us as so: We can not tell you what these new rules are. For national security. Only that you must obey them, or we will strip you of your licenses without trial or jury.
Yes, they said that.

And that's why I basically said "blow me" and changed careers. the worst part was all the 1/2 wits they had running security (they still have too). They hadn't the slightest idea about what constitutedΒ a threat, and what was daily business. It's a shame. I loved what I did, but I have no tolerance for stupid people.
so I went into customer service.....
(just kidding)
Telecom work. Not bad. But too successful. Everything can be done overseas now...and that has an effect on both quality of service and security of the product. Getting into biotech...
NOW THATS FUN!

Veterinary vaccines for livestock. The first phase of public health - safety of the food supply.

Okay, I know only enough about this field to be dangerous, so please bear with me. Mostly what I recall is that the health and safety industry for food sanitation, in America in particular has really going to the dogs.

No. Not particularly. We do have problems, but it's mostly about keeping staff professional on the job. Like anywhere else, don't pay people to see things....other will pay for them to NOT see things.

Lol! There is a great deal of truth behind that. *Nods grimly* Great example, a fried of mine refuses to eat at any restaurant she sees the kitchens of, due to their appalling health standards. I laughed at this, as the food still tastes the same, regardless of how good or bad the kitchen may look.
