Just because she doesn't have arms does not mean she can not enjoy herself. One of her hobbies she picked up was painting. It takes a while and a lot of concentration and twisting to get the angles she wants. But its the time that makes the project of painting the interior of their cave so worth while.The knobs on her limbs are hammered brass, that are custom fit to each. This allows a better ease of mobility. Furs decorate the floor as moving around like an inchworm can be very hard on ones belly. That and a series of ropes hanging at different angles around their cave helps her keep upright when she needs to level herself.

She suffered a very terrible fate at the hands of the Black Manes.

My oc could help with that as he is a purple slime based shape shifter with his life force inside a gemstone heart. He has an ability to pull slimy cubbies off himself and use them to form new limbs on others. This does cause him pain and requires time to regenerate his lost slime but as long as his heart remains intact he's fine. The limbs will always be purple. And retain shapeshifting capabilities

Amazing! She does not let her past dictate her future. She is taking charge of her own destiny in spite of her handicap. She is quite the brave mammal. Her lover would definitely be proud of her. I'm sure she is a very talented artist.

She is, and he is quite proud as she has come a long ways from how he found her. Her handicap has proven to be problematic but she works around it. She does miss her limbs though, as she relies on her lovers help to perform basic functions, such as eating, bathing, and mobility. But she has found ways to exist and still enjoy her life.
Her specialty is landscapes, she loves sun rises and sets. These she can depict with great detail, and has been covering the cave wall with them.

Fascinating, this is not something I expected there to be an association of, still. It's remarkable how adaptive people are at times. 
There is a similar book out there, one I drew some inspiration from, that was titled Cats Who Paint.
