Yes, this skirts the comfort zone for me as well.
The whole premises of this comic series is to reveal what happens to both Predators and prey when food becomes scarce and both sides become desperate. The introduction page of Arctic Drift has more details.
The second reason behind all this is to develop comic skills.
And take people on an emotional Rollercoaster.

Well...it looks really good and I've always wanted to see you draw nick and Judy but ummm...I did not expect you to draw Judy's skin on Nick's head. Lol. But it is a very cool and unique au. Keep up the great work.

Thank you - I admit that this was not the first foot of drawing Nick or Judy that I would like to put forwards. Still given that I have had requests for Judy going feral and assaulting Nick...
When my comic skills get up to speed I will get some more friendly images of Nick and Judy. This time, less skin hats, and more cuddly fluffy.
