It took three days of creating and discarding start panels.
The first ones I rejected as to grim, the second one came off looking like a...well R rated.
So in a final throw of creative desperation i created this page.
Thank you, expressions are still giving me grief, so that is what i will be working on today.

No, it's not just you. Due to limits of what is revealed I can't expect everything to be as clear as I would like.
Nick, of this world is a tragic Romeo, who ... -and ended up eating Juliette.
So upon finding Amenii, who looks a bit like his past significant other, he has a lot of emotions. Rage, remorse, hunger, love, all barely held in check over the guilt of what happened.
I can only surmised that some of this bled into my portrayal of events.
