why do you collect pop cans?

my first answer should be... I just don't know!
but if you insist to have an answer I should say it all started when I was like 13 years old and there were the Sydney 2000 Olimpic games and Coca Cola made special edition cans with the pets of the olimpic games, and I thought they were worth keeping on a shelf, and then when they did some other nice cans in xmas maybe I said oh well, I already have some cans here, why not some more, and then I just had a normal sprite can and I was gonna dump it but then I thought... my bookshelf will look nicer with some cans of other colors too, not just red... and soon I was keeping every can any member of my family drank, and then I was even buying my drinks caring just about wether I had that can in my collection or not, and forgetting about the flavour (I drank some horrible things just to have some cool different cans) and yeah I just don't know why. When I grew up I stopped adding more of them to the collection but I didn't dare to dump them in the garbage cuz they are too many and I'd never collect so much of anything again in my life, so I keep them xD and sometimes I even add a few more cans to it.

It's great to see other people with crazy ideas with soda cans. I really like the colours because it's more interesting from the brand labels you see everyday... whilst they are good for their purpose it's refreshing to see new colours!!
I (with the help of mum and boyfriend) collected about 150 coca cola cans for a photography project where i edited and reprinted the labels for each can i used to create the colour wheel!
we must have really bad diets if we drink this much soda.... >_>
