Description
I decided to come up with a scene for this one. XDThe room suddenly lights up, and Marco can now see the true form of his oppenent.
Marco: Heh, nice mask Morden.
Fake Morden:....
The masked Man stays silent, instead his response is too lift his arm in the air, but he stops half way as a man in similar colours rushes into the room. He slams into Marco's back.
???: No time to explain, just trust me.
The man on the ledge now utters the a word under his drawn breaths.
Fake Morden: Traitor...
Marco: What ,your with this guy?
???: No time to explain, can't you hear the writhing?!
Marco listens, swearing he can hear the sound of tentacles.
???: Get ready!
Marco: For what?!
The masked man now finishes lifting his arm. The two doors slide open, revealing the writhing's source. Green and yellow eyes look out from the darkness.
Marco: Metal Aliens?!
???: Just Shoot damn you!
The room bursts into the colours of battle. Bullets and lasers fly as the aliens pour into the room.
Marco: Heh, this all you got??
Suddenly, their is a low rumbling sound. It gets louder as a gigantice metallic creature raises from the dark depths.
Marco: What the f*** is that!?!
Fake Morden: Rootmars....Rebirth....
Now fighting against unstoppable odds, Marco and the mysterious soldier fight for their lives...
I first made the massive alien and Marco character from Metal slug fan art (i though it would look really good as a sprite!). [link]
It sends you to his old accoutant by the ways.
But then a scene formulated in my head, and then i thought, why the hell not? XD and just went for it.
Everything you see before you is made by me apart from the following which i custom edited from(this also includes credit to people who got the orginal sheets.):

And of course big credit to TheDuded000 for the original art which i based this on.
I got inspiration for the background from metal slug 4's final mission sections. If anyone would like to see all the background without the characters in the way, then just say and i'll put it up. (methinks you might be interested in this

yeah.thats the best part about him!and i think the music fitted the battle with his second form very well.if u can...when u make that form add some final attack remix to it like its a flash.rootmars has been my fav in metal slug ever since i beat him and got to sit in one of his clutches while shooting the venusians down and beaming them out of the way.ROOTMARS FTW!

Yea admitedly his face is funny when he gets beaten up! XD
the mask is there simply because that is not the real morden, but a fake one. (y'know, like some guy pretending to be him)
But perhaps i will change him back to his old face...

Oh yeah, I forgot about those moments! I thought this was the last boss time where he sits and watches and then actually does something once all else fails. Those impostor moments were great though

Agreed. The rest of the games either have him kidnapped or just down-right stupid but he still stands as the perfect comic-relief, like Saddam Hussein in the movie "Hot-Shots Part Deux". By the way, if ya haven't seen that movie, it's pretty much the Metal Slug movie if ever it was made

Even though I know this is probably a stage with a bunch of sprites, I WANT TO PLAY THIS! Lemme know if n' when you decide to go to the next level and make an entire metal-slug fan game. Nicely done on every little detail for this but can I add a suggestion?: Do you think you can keep the ol' general's face or at least have it there in whatever color-scheme? I always enjoyed his stupid funny face he has whenever you defeat him and that mask kinda takes away from some of the effect
