Time to punch some grandmas! (<-Not really, please don't do that. It's just something my friend said after my latest art submission which was like forever ago. The occasion was apparently so rare that she had to punch an imaginary grandma just from the sheer shock that I actually posted something here again. That sounded a lot less weird in my head. Moving on..)

So yeah. Inspiration to draw has been evading me for the past year or two. And even if I have drawn something, I haven't gotten around to actually post anything. But now that I have been on sick leave since Tuesday, I actually drew something and even decided to post it here (believe it or not!). I've been meaning to do this meme for years but never did until now. The 'Before' picture that I chose to redraw is something I found from an old box that my mother had. It was full of my old drawings, some kindergarten stuff and whatnot. I deduced the year I must've drawn it from the other stuff that was in the box. So I think I was around 5 or 6 when I drew the picture in question. No neck, no nose, weird stumps for arms or sleeves (who knows), feet are short and colored (or maybe they're supposed to be stockings or boots, I have no idea) and I noticed that 5/6 year old me liked using lots of colors where as the me now does not like to color at all. So this was hell! Hell I tell you! I mean, the drawing part was fun but the coloring, oh god the coloring.. <.< What the hell was I thinking?! How are you supposed to blend purple with
fricking GREEN?! I'm not good at coloring to begin with so I couldn't help but laugh-cry while attempting to save my poor drawing. And black sleeves, really? (well to be fair, those stumps might've just been arms, but I was not going to color some part of her skin black, face white and feet yellow xD).
