Description
Snow's falling down covering the ground in a beautiful white blanket. And were there's snow, there's Jack Frost. Gliding through a city in Germany with the wind, Jack is enjoying the snow day he has just created. When he has had enough fun of dashing through the snow, icing the roads and creating snowball fights, Jack calls for the wind to take him back home. But while on the way he notices the aurora borealis suddenly appear in the sky.
"Change of destination: Santoff Claussen.", Jack commands and faster than you can say: snowball, the wind changes it's course. Jack wonders what could have happened for North to need to call them all together so abruptly. It couldn't be..Pitch..could it? With that thought twirling in his mind, Jack asks the wind to speed up.
Jack arrives at the same time with Toothiana.
"Hi."
"Hi Jack."
"You know what this is about?", Jack inquires after a quick hello.
"Not a clue.", Tooth shakes her head.
"You don't think..", Jack begins but doesn't want to end it. Not that he needs to. Tooth knows right away what Jack is thinking. She has thought of the same thing. They arrive to the main hall of North's workshop.
"I don't..", Tooth starts but doesn't finish her sentence when she sees the main hall and stops on her tracks.
Jack was right behind her and almost bumps into her when she suddenly stops.
"Why did you..", he begins but stops midway like Tooth after seeing the same.
All the yetis and elves are cleaning and decorating the main hall as fast as they possibly can. Jack and Tooth are both staring the scene with their mouths open.
Jack is about to say something to Tooth when two yetis suddenly arrive at his side and the other manages to take his staff away as the other takes a tight hold of Jack and carries him away to the room in the back like he's some prey.
"Hey! What!..You!..", Jack tries to resist not comprehending at all what's happening but the yeti is way too strong. When they arrive in front of the room the yeti shoves Jack into the room which is full of elves holding some sort of clothes.
"No.", Jack protests when he lays his eyes on the clothes. One of the elves turns his right hand into a fist and pounds it against his left hand couple of times with a stern face before a lot of rattle, racket and things falling and breaking can be heard. After a while Jack sneaks fast out of the room and hold the door closed with his back against it.
"What in the..", Jack uses all of his strength to hold the elves inside.
"Jack!"
Jack turns his head toward the familiar gruff but jolly voice.
"North. What is going on?"
"Manny has chosen new spirits to help Mother Earth in her job. They will represent and help with the seasons. It's our job as the Guardians to welcome them. Mother Earth will be here with them in a minute.", North explains in a hurried manner.
"The Mother Earth?", Jack questions and emphasizes.
"Who else?", North answers as he takes a better look at Jack. "Why aren't you in your ceremonial clothes?"
