A squeal escaped your lips as a pair or robotic arms wrapped around you gently, but with enough force to pick you up and sit you down in his lap.
“Gotcha~” He smiled, and reached for your sides, squeezing them gently.
“Ahahahahahaha! Nohohohohohohoho!”
Mettaton kept smiling in childish glee as he tickled you, Finally, he let you go after you appeared to have some trouble breathing.
“You are just too cute, you know?”
He chuckled, watching as your face darkened to a reddish hue.
You pouted and tried to think of a way to get him back.
You faked a smile and shook your head.
“Well, sorry to leave so suddenly, but I just remembered that I have some work to do. I’m gonna go tell Alphys bye before I go. I’ll come visit again!”
Mettaton sighed and smiled sadly back.
“Alright, darling. I’ll see you then.”
You quickly went to Alphys’s office and knocked gingerly.
“Hey Alphys, are you in there?”
The shuffle of footsteps could be heard from the other side of the door. It opened, revealing the small monster in a lab coat. She smiled up at you.
“Oh, h-hello (name). W-what can I d-do for y-you?”
“Well Alphys, I was wondering… Is there a way I can get back at Mettaton?”
“What? For tickling you?”
“Yeah. I tried tickling him once but he just gave me a funny look.”
“Oh I see… You know the knob on his chest?”
After thinking back, you did remember that. It was on the right side of his chest, or his left.
“Yes? What do I have to do to it?”
“Well, turning it to your left will cause him to feel pain when you touch him. But if you turn it to your right…”
A smirk crossed both your faces.
“Got it…” You muttered as you quickly thanked her and left.
“Hey Mettaton! I’m back! Turns out it was a lot shorter than I expected.”
“Oh welcome back, darling!”
You quickly ran up and sat on his lap, this time facing him.
He seemed to blush a bit and looked at you with a hint of worry.
“(name)? What are you doing?”
You looked at the knob and turned it to the right.
Mettaton shivered and jumped suddenly.
“Woah… feels like something just changed…”
You smirked triumphantly and began to tickle his hips.
“Ahahahahahahahahahahahahaha~!”
You almost stopped right there, flat out hypnotized. This robotic laugh of his… was so cute!
You kept up your relentless tickle attack, watching him flinch back and yelp at the new sensations.
Finally you stopped when you heard a strange noise come from him.
It sounded like a small click or a little beep.
You began to laugh a bit. Mettaton covered his mouth and blushed harshly.
“Aww Mettaton, you are so cute! Wait a second…”
“W-what?”
“You didn’t ask me to stop…?”
“W-well… It kind of felt… nice… I mean… When you do it… I mean! Uh…”
“Hahahaha! It’s fine, Mettaton. I love hearing you laugh for once. It’s beautiful, just like your singing voice.”
“And yours.”
“W-what?”
“I heard you singing my song…”
“What song? Pffft…”
“Oh my love… Please run away…”
“Monster king… Forbids your stay~ Ah! Wait a minute Mettaton this doesn’t mean anything I just so happened to know it from when you sang it to Frisk not like I was watching or anything because I like you and what-not but you know oh crap did I say that out loud what I meant to say was I love you wow I am bad at this huh hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!”
Mettaton gave you a blank stare for what felt like an eternity but was probably just five seconds before he burst out laughing. He hugged you tight and giggled.
“Silly (name)... I love you too… You could say… You really push my buttons~”
“Mettaton!”
