Knocking gingerly on the door, you murmured.
"Hello...? Papyrus, are you in there?"
There was a quiet shuffle, and then the door creaked open.
The hooded skeleton smiled gently down at you.
"What can I help you with?"
"Um... Can I just... Come in...?"
He looked curious, but nodded and moved aside, motioning for you to come in.
"Thank you..."
After walking inside, you went over and sat on his bed, looking down a bit.
The clicking of the closing door resounded through the room. Papyrus walked over and sat down next to you.
"So what's up? You seem a little out of it... Well, more than usual, anyway."
When you looked over at him, he had a small smile on his face, showing you that he was just teasing you.
You couldn't help but smile back.
"Um... Were you jealous?"
"Jealous? Of what?"
"Your brother. When he was with me. You seemed a bit more quiet than usual..."
A small orange blush formed.
"N-no... I was just a bit surprised, that's all... You know, walking in with my brother having you pinned on the floor, blushing. Looking down at you while out of breath... I just happen to know that my brother is too innocent for that. So I understood it must have been something else."
"Well, what did you think it was?"
"My brother has a habit of tickling me... Out of the two of us, I am actually the more sensitive. So whenever he sees me upset, that's what he does. I automatically assumed that's what he was doing with you."
"Wait a minute... Did you just say you are more ticklish than Sans?"
"... You read that out of context. I didn't mean that."
"Sure, sure. But you hesitated!"
"Uh... Touché."
"It's fine, Papyrus... I think it's cute!"
"H-huh?"
"I mean, you seem all forlorn and deep in thought... It makes you look a little scary sometimes. But to think, you are sensitive to something like tickling! That's adorable!"
You gently tickled his side.
"Ahehehehehehehehehehe noooooooohohohohohoohohohohohhohohohohohoho!"
A dark blush crossed his face as he chuckled deeply.
You moved your way down to his spine, and that's when the fun started.
"A-AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Papyrus's laughter went up in pitch and he squirmed, with small tears forming in his 'eyes'.
"Woah I had no idea you were this ticklish hehehehehehehehehe~"
Finally, you managed to tear yourself away from the ticklish skeleton upon realizing he was losing energy.
"Wh...Why would you do that...?"
"Well... I heard that you like tickling... And that you like me...?"
"Ah-! Wait I didn't mean for you to find out lido this ah I know you probably wouldn't like me and... Sorry. I know you probably like my bro more than me but-"
"No! I love you both... You are both so cute... And so sweet... I wouldn't trade either of you for anything!"
Papyrus stared in silence while smiling warmly. Suddenly there was a thudding noise.
"Do you really mean that, human?!"
"Oh Sans! Hahaha! C'mere."
He walked over shyly and you gently pulled him on the bed with you.
With Sans on one side and Papyrus on the other, you hugged them both with one arm each.
"I love you guys."
They both spoke in unison, one sentence that made your day.
"We love you too, (name)."
