These are some Photographs I took last year, when I was in the Austrian Army (Bundesheer). As you can see, I had a great time
Particularly the Heli flight was unbelievable, imagine running up to a Heli fast as hell, drop your Weapon and your Backpack in and getting up, all in like 10 seconds and than aviate up in high speed too *gg*
Sorry for the bad quality, I have a 7MP Camera but my old and crappy Motorola Mobile Phone was easier to carry in the Uniform
Only took some High Quality shots of the STG 77 and my locker, so not very suitable for devart.

Yeah it was. That's not something i really have/had to worrie about. Every male Austrian citizen has to this (or civilian service) for 6 Months
Austria is for the most part an neutral country, we don't get involved in that many wars. I'd be pissed if i had to do this in like Isreal, where as far as i know even women have to do this.

Nope, (Hochgebirgs)Jäger [Tirol], das mit dem Heli war nur in der Feldwoche einmal, damit wir auf einen Gipfel klettern konnten, der so nicht erreichbar gewesen wäre. Aber da gings schon ab wie in nem Extremfall *gg*
