I see a blizzard of these flower close ups these days... those lens must be on sale for 20 bucks, but this one is lovely in its simplicity and color. very nice

I love the shallow depth of field and the whole feel to this picture...it's absolutely precious! The black and white work well for contrast, of course, but the green acts as a wonderful intermediate to make the overall picture softer. I love it!

It's lovely! The black background sets off the flower very nicely. You might want to try a small white border to accent the edge of the photo vs. the frame, this works well too, just a thought. The greenery of the leaf adds a nice bit of depth, too. Well done!!!
