First off, Hello to all.

Second of all, I am a fan of "Battlestar Galactica" and am suffering a bit of BSG Withdrawal since the show has ended.

Third, I am into prop replicas, so this is definitely up for those who are interested.

I have decided to do some BSG-related and inspired prop images, primarily paper props, for any BSG fan that may be interested. This means that this may be the first in a few.

In an episode of Season 1 for "Battlestar Galactica", there is a disc that is delivered by a Model Six Cylon that holds "proof" that Baltar sabotaged the Defense Mainframe. Now, though the color scheme for this disc cover I made here is not the light blue, dark blue and white colored as the disc seen in the episode, the Prop Auction for "Battlestar Galactica" had three disks, including a dark gray and light gray one. This is my replica of that one. All you would need to do to make a replica of the prop is to print out this cover on a paper CD cover, cut the white sides off. All you would have to do, for your disc, is to get a metal ruler, an Xacto knife, carefully cut the edges to get the octagonal shape (you can even use the CD cover to trace the edges).

Note: This particular cover is not 100% screen accurate due to the lack of the Colonial Phoenix logo to download and modify, I was forced to use one that was readily available to me. Hope you prop makers enjoy this, and just remember to give me a credit for creating it if you take pictures and post about this at any Prop Replica forums. Enjoy!
