Kiba and Tamaki are canonicaly a couple and they've been going out for years according to Kishi's one-shot and Konoha Shinden.
Being unmarried doesn't change that fact.

Dan and Tsunade were a couple, yet they never married each other (he died and all xD)

Not gonna get into the lgbt debate now (it's 06:00 am here)... but I guess you are ok with the other couples since you only mentioned the gay ones and KibaTama.

And the reason I declined the gay couples is not only my general attitude towards the topic, but also the fact that Narutoverse has NO gays whatsoever.

They have their own one-shot (drawn by the author) about how they met (and Kiba fell in love), a novel talking about the "drama" of their relationship, they are shown in chapter 700 flirting and having a date in The Last.

Seriously, you don't need a ring to call it a couple.
Boyfriends/Girlfriends are also couples.

Again, I don't want to bring up the lgbt topic with someone who disaproves on them to begin with.
I just like these and the contast tease of them being a thing in the show... it's funny, even if it's not entirely true and just done for the lulz.Comedy always has a strong effect on what I end up shipping (canon or not).

I can like whatever I want; after all, it's just fantasy.

In the manga they're just having a talk, which isn't official enough to make them into a full couple.

You are free to dislike them, in fact I was planning to do the "Pairings I hate" meme, but I did´t want to add wood to the fire. The Naruto fandom is full of crazy people as it is, and there are ships I despise with a crazy fandom behind (I don´t want them to start bashing my channel hahaha)

Well, until the marriage, that is.

Like I said, the bigger reason is that gay people are non-canon to Narutoverse in the first place.
My personal dislike of real life gays has nothing to do with this fact.
I simply don't support impossible cracks that can't happen without immense OOC and AU editions.
Some crack ships actually are possible, even if they have zero canon data - but at least they don't contradict the data that we do have.
For example, ShinoHana (Kiba's sis) is one such funny crack ship that has zero canon reasons to happen - but also has zero canon reasons NOT to happen either.
It's a 50/50 case, purely given over to the fanon interpretation.
But KakaIruka is a 0/100 case, since it's based on the ANTI-canon assumption that those guys are gays, which is clearly false (or would have been stated somewhere sometime otherwise).

She was the heiress indeed and that makes me happy. She managed to be respected again by her family, even if she chose a different path later.

Fun fact: KakaIru's the most popular Naruto ship by a huge margin, which I never understood because they've talked to each other like... once?
I mean, I guess it's fun for crack-shipping (which I'm ok with) but its popularity is too over the top.

My main reason to ship KakaGai is that they have a really well-developed friendship and bond. Gai is obsessed with Kakashi and doesn't pay attention to girls.
Kakashi is the same, he seems more interestes in the girls from erotic novels than real ones (in fact, he's only had girlfriends in videogames and filler)

The closest thing to a canon romantic interest is Rin, yet she is in the same level as Obito (friendzoned?) and died before the whole thing could be developed.
Yet, we have constant teasing when it comes to Kakashi and Gai... like Mirai saying they are like a married couple or that she wished her parents had their relationship.

As you see it's not canon and I will never expect it to be, but the teasing is so much fun I can help but laugh... sometimes it's all I need.

Is she dead (most logically probable, given the fact she doesn't appear at the wedding)?
Alive and closeted from everyone's view?

Secretly Shizune (lol, just made this up)?
Really - why CAN'T Kishitroll reveal such a MINOR detail?
This is making a secret out of something which has NO REASON to BE a secret, other than after the fact.
After all, we had seen all the other parents AT LEAST IN FILLERS - but Hinata's mom is UTTERLY ABSENT from reality, which is why it's safe to assume her being REALLY dead.
Then again - how hard is it for Kishi to just admit it?

That's why I didn't mean that it's some taboo to JOKE about such stuff in fanfics.
I wouldn't drop a good fic just because they TEASE Kakashi about Gai, lol.
But if they SERIOUSLY go for either of these clearly straight men being SERIOUSLY gay (as a non-joke assumption) - well, bye-bye, not my type of Tsukuyomi.

I mean, he only mentions how mad he is over his father's death but there's no mention of his mother.

In fact we only see her twice in flashbacks: along with the secondary branch during Neji's/Hinata's meeting and, later on, sobbing over hes husband's corpse, then nothing.
If she is alive (because otherwise it would have been included in Neji's dramatic past) where is she in Neji's funeral?, was she not invited to her niece's wedding?... did she freaking run away with Hinata's mom? XDD
