Apolline pov

I watched mom pack up some things and I sat there confused as I stared through her door
Apolline- mommy?
She jumped and looked at me
Ender- oh Apolline it's you baby
She walked over and picked me up
Apolline- is mommy leaving? Is that why your packing up?
She looked sad
Ender- Polli mommy needs to take care of some things ok? Can you go play with your brother?
Apolline- he won't let me, he says I'm a distraction to reading
Ender- want me to see if Auntie Red's kids will play with you?
I shook my head
Apolline- I wanna hear mommy's stories again!
I grinned excitedly and she kissed my forehead
Ender- maybe another time baby, mommy needs to do some things. Maybe you can listen to Red she has good stories to
I looked down sad
Apolline- ok mommy
She put me down and I ran off to find auntie Red, I walked around the halls of our home in the nation thingy, mommy said me and brother would inherit it when we are older. As I continued walking I heard yelling but I ignored it, I didn't like people fighting each other. When I got to Auntie Red's room I saw she wasn't there. I heard the yelling grow louder, so I went to investigate. I went all the way to the meeting room and saw Auntie Shade,Miya, and Mimiki there.
Shade- You can't just leave your children Ender! They don't deserve a life without their parents like we had!
Ender- I have to find Martin! If I find him it won't just be me taking care of them! They haven't even gotten to meet him yet! Plus it would be safer for them! There are still people out for my life and I can't put them in danger!
Miya- Ender, Shade is right! Apolline and Nova need you!
Mimiya- you can't leave them! Even if there are players out there that want you dead
Ender- Shade I want you to take my place as 1st commander while I'm gone, tell the others about where I'm going and please all of you.....take care of them....
Mommy walked out of the meeting room and I ran out of my hiding spot and tried to go to her before Aunt Mimiki grabbed me and held me
Apolline- MOMMY!
I cried and she continued walking looking sad and broken...
Today is the day I saw mommy broken..... the day was the last day she ever smiled.
It was that night I dropped all magic lessons I had and went to trolling others to put a smile on mine and others faces. It was my goal to make mommy smile again

Nova pov

Sis has been acting weird the last few days and mom is no where to be found, where did she go? She was always there but....she wasn't anymore. Sis stopped coming to magic lessons, we barely got into spells before she left! Aunt Toni and Aunt Shade have helped me with magic while Aunt Pyra and Aunt Shadow help with combat lessons, I don't usually play with the other kids. I'm more shy towards them but there are a few exceptions like Sapphire, Samantha and Alexander. They are good friends but I'm still shy around them at times. Apolline seems to only show up at combat lessons and she never will spar with the other kids, she always want one of our Aunts to battle her..... what has gotten into her mind?
Alex- hey Nova! Heads up!
I stopped spacing out in time to dodge a arrow headed towards me
Nova- if you can give me more warning next time
Alex- Sorry dood! You need to keep your head out of the clouds ya know
He just smiled
Sapphire- what were you day dreaming about Nova?
Nova- well mom disappeared and Apolline is acting strange, she's ditched all magic lessons for some time now and she always ask Samantha and Alex's mom or Aunt red to spar with her
Samantha- ya I've noticed
Sapphire- uh... Nova you haven't heard have you?
I was confused at this point
Nova- heard what?
Sapphire- I kinda over heard mom and dad talking one night about how Aunt Ender left, no one's seen her since. She also put Ms.Shade in charge of the nation
Nova- mom......left...
I dropped the sword I had in my hand and it clanked against the ground grabbing Apolline's attention.
Nova- mom wouldn't just...leave...... would she?....
Alex- dood....
I felt my magic trying to go haywire
Nova- your all lying mom wouldn't leave!
Sapphire- Nova calm down!
Samantha- she'll come back soon Nova just calm down!
i couldnt.....

I just could not calm down

Apolline pov

I looked at Nova, his magic was going haywire! I dropped my sword confusing Aunt Red before she looked at where I was headed and calling for Aunt Shade
I ran and grabbed him and pulled him into a hug
Apolline- Nova calm down!
Nova- mom wouldn't leave us....
I felt a slash on my cheek and arm
Thats what this was about.....
Apolline- she's coming home soon, she's going to find dad!
Nova- he wasn't there for us, we only need mom!
Apolline- Nova... Mommy wanted us to have a normal life with her and dad, we need to understand
I felt blood running down my arm and cheek
He began to calm down
I saw aunt Shade running over before both me and Nova both blacked out
