The best artists around the world, gathering at the Olympics for the first time in history. The contestants are tense, their eyes a sharp weapon. You do NOT want to cross these people. It's obvious how their hands tighten and relax as they're anxious to get started, only waiting for the start signal. WHEEP!! And the artist have begun! It was a tight start, it was impossible to see whose arm jolted to a start first, but - oooh! The competition is strained! So many hisses, insults and angry growls are being exchanged. You do NOT want to get caught in the crossfire of these vile animals!
Ow! The artists are nearing the finish! The photographers are getting really heated about the epic shots they get of the persistent traditional artists - now the digital artists have started to add the final touches! It is easy to notice their anxious glares and tense postures as they glance to the orther desks to make sure that no one's ahead of them!! Aaaand... WHEEEP!! The whistle have sung and the game is over! The contestants look so very exhausted! Now, look there! One of the traditional artists just fell from her chair, wheezing and frothing from the strain! We can easily say that the very first dA Arts category was a very big success! Go ahead and give them the loudest applaud they have ever heard!!

I slapped the alarm to stop the annoying drone of the buzzing. I really dislike that alarm. I don't like having my dozing time interrupted. And yet, at times like this, it is imperative I actually get up and not lay about thinking about my dreams before actually throwing my legs over the side of the bed and getting up. It is 3 AM EST but 12 midnight dA time. It is the "special" day, April 7th, 2014, a day that is supposed to be spectacular in dev-land. Sigh. Must go to the bathroom and brush my teeth before I can feel anything but gross even after only four hours of sleep. Coffee in hand, I sit in the Lazy-Boy and place the pillow and lap table on my lap and grab the laptop. Flicking open the lid, I wait for the computer to "wake up" and ask for my password. It is a bit cold in the bedroom, so the laptop seems slow to respond. Airport is giving me the "searching for network" BS it does every time I want to open a fricken' browser. Geesh. Open already. Finally. dA is loading its page incrementally from top to bottom. I click to sign-in. Now to find out just what the big deal is all about. I yawn but the yawn turns into a gape when I read just what dA has gone and done. Fella. The resident kitty-cat has announced he is running for President of the United States! How is that possible?? True, he is American born but he doesn't fit the age requirement! Or the experience! Or anything! Who did spyed pay off??? This news is going to rock the world! Fella, no slouch to confronting and dealing with dArama, has the stamina and guts to be president (he could get Putin to lick the milk out of his bowl), but there has been no known contender for the presidency who is of feline birth. I have no idea how this announcement will be received but the ramifications will be far reaching. Perhaps the US will finally be truly the Super Power it should be with Fella in control. He is one bad-ass cat.
