That's cool too! Any gender works. I think you should give it a real crazy history like it was born with it's stomach open and was cursed upon it's immediate death to have a weird stomach mouth and be a demon. Or it could have been born a demon that everyone fears. Or it lied a lot as an angel and was cast down, growing so many mouths for all the lies. Or something else.
