you mean there has never been a CANON way. The brown eyes and greyish purple magic have been around long before the green eyes and magic  (if i remember correctly I think I made that design popular. but I could be mistaken.)

I always iked the idea of her magic/eyes being Pipboy default green.  Kinda fits.
