How uncharacteristically somber. I like it. Truly, I almost passed this by. But her face brought me back. The expression possesses such genuine emotion (even if the left eye IS slightly wonky) that I found myself wondering what she's thinking about. Perhaps she briefly let herself feel the weight of all the times people have died for her. All the times he had died for her. Mario was... special. He had died for her more times than she wanted to comprehend. And yet he kept trying again. What could drive a man to lay down his life over and over, shrugging that which most fear to taste even once, only to crawl back to his feet and keep running ahead? What could she possibly have done to earn that devotion? How could one even begin to repay such a service? "Greater love hath no man..." Peach sighed, a dainty little puff of air. She hated when her mind did this to her. She rang for some herbal tea. This would be a long evening.
Just a thought. Congratulations. Your art has provoked thought, and that is an encouragement to any artist. Well done.
