((Hmmmmm..... Well, I had a deadcanon that all Nitram's could grow wings, due to both Rufioh and the Summoner having them. The fact that they say Rufioh 'pupated them at a certain age' helps this. So, I believe that Vriska had... Killed... Him before they could sprout, and if you looked at his back after he died, you would see little nubs where they would have sprouted.

You're not the first person to have a similar headcanon. In the original, I wanted to play around with symbolism, especially in tattoos. Considering how Vriska was Tav's personal antagonist, and how she was controlled by Doc Scratch, she could have ripped them off at any time (or had him rip them off himself with mind control). Depending on the extent of her mind controlling powers, she could have even made him forget he had them in the first place, (which could have gone horribly wrong considering a few trolls have said Tavros seems like he's incapable of hate which is weird for trolls).
Ahh... sorry to have gone off on that tangent... Thanks for sharing your idea. It's interesting to see what people come up with since Homestuck is so abstract. ouo

Yeah. I know the Homestuck canon pretty well (I've reread it plenty of times since I've read it other peeps) so knowing the canon can help create some awesome headcanons that people would have a hard time saying are fake with all the evidence laying around.

The next day or later, yeah. The eyes and mind are refreshed and see much more details that way. Hours of staring at something can make the mind forget a few things.

A lot of things if some of my previous experiences are any indication. The amount of times I finish of a picture pretty content with it and come back the next day to see 20 bajillion mistakes :V

I actually haven't had that problem in a while, but when it does happen, it's always with something obvious or small things which feel obvious.
It's always with things like a stray line, using an off shade, not blending well enough, and a million other things like that working together to make things look subpar. Which is sad because otherwise it'd be perfect and such.
