Ensnared within the Dreamlands, my earthly body succumbed to the ravages of hunger and thirst. My spirit found itself ensnared in a realm of grotesque, organic forms—each pulsating and writhing with a sinister hunger that mirrored my own.

Shoggoths, manifestations of the universe's insatiable appetite, slithered through the twisted landscape of the Underworld. Alongside ghasts, ghouls, and myriad other malevolent beings, they whispered secrets and ancient knowledge in their alien tongues.

In time, I mastered their languages, becoming one with the darkness that enveloped me. The dreamer I once was, now a distant memory, I transformed into a banshee—a harbinger of doom and despair.

My remaining hope clung to a twisted purpose: to lure another dreamer into the Dreamlands with false promises of the fabled Sunset City. Once ensnared, I would possess their body, escaping my imprisonment and returning to the waking world.

In the depths of my despair, I understood the bitter truth: it was through my own greedy pursuit and pitiable desperation that I had become a creature of darkness. The path to evil had been paved by my own actions, and now I wandered the Underworld, a tormented soul seeking salvation through the suffering of others.
