Description Me and a friend have often talked about an idea i had, a mix of the Red Alert story and some elements from Operation Flashpoint. We have often talked about creating a story of a Soviet invasion across europe and Britain set in the early 80's and how London would become the the final battleground for the survival of freedom, the final last ditch effect by the Combined British army units against the soviets.

Of course the main problem with the whole idea would be trying to explain why nukes are not used lol in favor for convensional warfare.....the idea is flawed lol but is interesting.

That sounds like a good idea for a video game. Operation Flashpoint 3 London's Burning or something like that.
But during the cold war and after, no nation in the world except for the USA was prepared to use nukes. Because of retaliation.

Love it, and the storyline, and if you want a reason nukes weren't used, it could be to win public opinion, after all, the first side to use nuclear arms would be automatically dubbed the bad side and lose public support in most countries, Larry Bond's Cauldron, and Clancys Red Storm Rising are both able to circumnavigate nuclear weapons without too much difficulty.

Love your userpic and signiture too! Go Thomsen!!

The sharp constrasting is very well done and suits the theme. How long did this take you? Was everything photoshopped in or is this all original?

And of course I full viewed it. But if you him me like that again.....
