And then I see the curios behind the glass
See the detrius of my life
Behind your face
Through my own
Our images superimposed on top
And I wonder if we are only as real
As what I see
A glimpse of calm
If I turn my head
The vision shifts away
And we are gone

Breaking my heart into shards of glass

But I can feel you next to me
Touch your skin
Feel your heartbeat
And know that at least I provide some peace
Close my eyes
Ignore the reflection
Remind myself
To focus on the real
