Heya everyone! I am glad to finally have this drawing finished!! This drawing originally has been in the works for over a YEAR!! And when I first decided to say it was complete I just made it a sketch because it was getting me too frustrated. Welp, needless to say the sketch version of this drawing titled "Destruction in the City" (which you can find here ) didn't exactly perform as well as I hoped so now I decided to ink and color the drawing and here we are!! I even gave it a more fitting name~!
For context, this scene is supposed to take place during the events of Sonic Forces. I didn't necessarily like how light hearted and dry the OG game was and thought of what it would've been if it had a more serious theme (I mean hell, Eggman literally took over 99.99% of the world in that game yet they all act as if it's a fuckin' joke).
Funnily enough I started this before Sonic Frontiers was even announced and after going through that game, I was like, "THIS MOOD IS EXACTLY WHAT FORCES NEEDED!!!" So in a way, I suppose you could say this drawing is a cross between sonic forces and sonic frontiers haha! Anywho~ hope you enjoy!!!
