Your friendly neighborhood Spiderman, famous superhero of New York. The bite of a radioactive spider gifted him with inhuman strength, speed, agility, and the ability to climb walls. The untimely death of his Uncle Ben at the hands of a criminal convinced him of the need to use his powers for good, and to fight back against the evil in his city that put so many innocents in danger. He used his own scientific intuition to build a pair of wrist-mounted devices capable of launching artificial spider webs, and now he roams the streets of New York, swinging between buildings on his webs, effortlessly scaling the steepest walls, and fighting back against low-level crime and the occasional mob boss or supervillain.

Vs

The Omnidroid 08, the nigh-indestructible military android. It was designed in secret by the Villainous genius Syndrome, who pandered to the sense of adventure in retired supers in order to lure them into death matches against the machine. Every victory was a chance for the Omnidroid's advanced intelligence to improve its tactics and learn new techniques, and every loss was a chance for Syndrome to rebuild it stronger, faster, and without its former weaknesses. By version 8, the robot had 5 legs, heavy armor, the ability to roll into a ball, and a power plant capable of making it move and fight at incredible speeds. But its most dangerous asset is still its powerful, remorseless intelligence, and there are few supers capable of outmaneuvering it for more than a few minutes.
