well you got to remember that art is subjective and everyone not going to like the same things, architecture probably just not your cup of tea..... for me I have always loved looking at buildings and stuff.... this photos just has me wanting to know more about what this photo is of. It's hard to see what it is by looking at it which is making me want to know more about the story behind this photo.

Ok, that is your taste of art, and that is fine. But, the thing is, I disgust modern art, mostly because people are making up stories which could be about the piece of art, and those stories mostly do not make sense at all.Β
And anyone on this planet could have thought of this. That is just how I see it.

Sometimes stories are obscure on purpose. This, however, isn't exactly what one could call modern art - perhaps 'minimalist' would be more suited. But there isn't really much story to this in the first place. The shapes and colours kind of set a mood/vibe by themselves, and the piece becomes nothing more than pure feeling. which still makes it art.
Different things trigger different people. They're either looking too hard at the piece, or missing something simple that the whole thing is built on. Β Poetry I consider weak makes me feel practically offended, as if it stole valuable time from me or something, and that's only because I don't "get it".
