Once at Elfwood I came across one gallery that had drawings of each of the D&D races done to scale as in previous manuals except there was one twist: They were drawn naked. I was intrigued with this idea, but I didn't like the manner in which the artist drew it. First of all, he was a 3rd edition player while I am a 2nd edition diehard, so naturally his halflings looked like kender. But aside from that, the elf was drawn with a small penis. And the half-orc was a work of sublte racism; with kinky hair and a long penis. The half-orc woman was drawn with a hairy chest.Naturally, I decided to draw my own version to show what I felt the D&D races would probably look like naked. I'm still not completely happy with the way this came out, but here it is regardless.
Now it seems that at least once per month someone adds this to their favorites. The women need a little love, too. But I think both are overdue for an update soon.

Also, I am curious about the various states of their penises. The human and halfling are sporting an exposed glans, while the others are not. Is that significant?
Not that I'm obsessed with penises, but that seems to be the purpose for drawing this, so I would expect there would be some thought in them.

Your assertion that my work on the half orc on my Elfwood piece was a "work of subtle racism" is laughable, and really rather amusing.
I really do wish you'd spoken to me about it to get my basis for drawing the pieces I did, rather than just assuming as you've done. I'd be willing to do so, anyway, since you have made so many assumptions about the pieces without really asking me a thing about them!

In agreeance with the latest comment posted by SBoggart -- Half-orcs are to be much, MUCH taller than humans, and humans are a good bit taller than half-elves, and half-elves are a good bit taller than elves. Elves are very feminine in appeareance, and I would agree that since they are not abundant in testosterone, the proportion is off. Dwarves are indeed supposed to be much broader. They are stocky and well built. I'm also pretty sure that gnomes are smaller than halflings.

Now, from looking at the most recent D&D player's manual, the Half-orcs are about two to three feet taller than Humans, and Dwarves are WAAAAYYYY broader. Like, walking-brick-wall broad.

A lovely work, although I can't agree with your assessment of the original Elfwood work now that I've seen it. I don't believe racism, subtle or otherwise, worked at all into it.
However, your work is also very good, and I liked the way it came out.
As for Elves, in AD&D, at least when I used to play, Elves in that world were slightly shorter on the average than humans, although in most fantasy worlds they are portrayed as taller (if we're speaking about Norse-based Elves). As for 'testosterone', the whole argument is ridiculous as the original Elf in the picture in question did not have a small penis proportionally, and testosterone does not necessarily have anything to do with penis size, nor does personality or culture have anything to do with testosterone.
It's a fantasy. Sheez.
Anyway, great job! You can tell a lot of effort and hard work went into this.

Elven males generally do have smaller penises than other races. According to one of Tokins books on fantasy races.
