What a face ... really great portrait. A pity you didn't write anything about this shot. Who is he, where did you meet him, how the shot was born, under what circumstance. A really strong, expressive portrait.
Oh, and thanks for the !

You capture the souls of people on camera better than most photographers I know. This portrait is incredible.

wow. he has such a dramtic face, you can only wonder what he has gone through in his life.
did he have a good life?
did he live his life full of regret, dispair, and loss?
i guess we'll never know.
all in all, this is a fantastic picture that struck me at first sight.

You've got a real good eye for your subjects. The story really is in the man's face. Love it.

he looks kinda scary but i love the contours of his face. What an interesting guy.i am so jealous. I never quite have the confidence to walk up to people other than my own kind. I wanna just take random beautiful street portraits too.... WELL DONE!!

This guy is scary and sad. Reminds me of an old guy I often see on the bus who can't lift his head any more, he shuffles about with his chin flat on his chest. Seen from behind you'd think he has no head. I'll have to get a pic of him sometime...

chocolatesa In reply to coeptis [2008-03-25 00:22:58 +0000 UTC]
I usually see him on the bus though... I'd be kind of embarassed to take a shot of him in a bus full of people And then I'd have to ask him if he minded, and he'd think I was taking a picture cause I think of him as a freak or something, even though I don't, it's sad really, maybe he hasn't gone to see a doctor about it yet... How do you ask people to take their pictures? How do they react? I've never asked a total stranger to take their picture before.

Hmm there are ways if it is a homeless person just give them a quarter but if they are not tell them the pic is for project or for university or somethin they wont mind than if you give them a good reason i hope this helps)
