When I met you, i thought "wow, this guy is really nice. I'd love to talk to him more, and bonus, he's in my Archaeology class! yay! I don't have to be alone!". I thought you were Hawaiian, and I thought you for sure had a girlfriend. I apparently was terrible at first guesses because surprisingly, I was wrong, for both of them. (The lack of hawaiian heritage in you especially surprised me.) You knw what? I've never been so happy to be wrong. I took a liking to you quickly and I was definitely planning on asking you out... at some point. When you asked me out before I asked you, I was nervous. Not because I didn't like you obviously, but because I was scared to try another relationship so soon. I wasn't sure if I was in the proper mental state, but something about you just drew me in so, i went for it, (YOLO). Man, did I ever want to get the first kiss in by initiating it myself because I knew that's what you preferred AND you had asked me out before I could ask you, but you were impatient at the movie. I was going to do it, I swear I was, but you beat me to it. In any case, the butterflies were real. The smiles, those were real too. Something about you. You're such a kind soul. You're happy, you're funny, you're genuine, you're honest, you're kind, you're everything amazing and I'm not the only one who sees it either, other people notice and tell me how lucky I am to have you, and y'know what? I believe them. You grew on me so quickly and I almost got scared of how fast I was falling for your goofy laugh, the way you smile, the way you smile like a kid who doesn't know how to smile sometimes (and make me laugh 5ever), the way you talk, the way you walk, the way you wait for me and my comfort zones and the way you accept every part of me. I know you aren't perfect. No one is perfect and sure we get into little "arguments" sometimes, but that's alright because we have solved every one of them. I learn from you about who you are and how you work and you do the same. You have taken the time to get to know me, to get to know my quirks and habits, my golden traits, and my many flaws and you have not given me a reason to believe you will leave me on account of any one of them. you embrace who I am, and I hope you know that I do the same for you. Everything about you is extraordinary in my eyes. Even the things you don't like about yourself, or the things you find are ordinary or dull, I find wonderful and something to be celebrated. You are something to be celebrated.
I can be difficult, I can be hard headed and stubborn, especially when it comes to how I view myself but you have been there for me every time, to hold me, to comfort me and to wipe away my tears when I cry. (which is impressive, because i don't like to cry infront of people). You sometimes make it worse with the choice of words, but y'know what? You give an effort and that is more than a lot of people can say and y'know what else? in the end, you always make things shine brighter than they did before. You have added colour to my world, a smile to my face, a leap in my step and joy to my life. I chose to trust you, I chose to get to know you and boy, did I make the right choice. You are doing so much good for me. I know you can't understand the magnitude to which I appreciate you and all you do for me, but I can do my best to tell you. I can show you in my smile, I can tell you with my laugh, I can make you see with the rejuvinated life in my heart that you helped put there.

This became longer than I expected, and I'm sure you know by now that no, I wasn't on a skype IM with Maegan, but, long story short;
