New reference sheet for a certain monster gal!
Using two of the free upgrades from the 2018 Melanoid Event here:Β coffeeaddicteddragon.deviantarβ¦
So now she's grown a fair bit bigger, the size of a big bear, roughly.
I may adjust the size later since the human comparison is a bit off...
Best not get on her bad side.

In all honesty I first didn't like her that much but now she's like one of my favourite loons her design is so sweet and looks so nice like really an admirable loon!

Yes it is! Ammit in Egyptian mythos was a creature with a crocodiles head, a lion or leopards front half and a hippos back half. When the heart of a dead Egyptian was weighed in the "weighing of the heart" in the book of the dead, Ammit would wait nearby along with several gods like Anubis, Thoth, Ma`at, Osiris, ect.
Basically, if the heart was heavy with sin, it was fed to Ammit, subsiquently dooming the dead egyptian who owned it to eternal unrest. She was quite literally the embodyment of devine judgement and all that should be feared by the egyptians at the time.

Yeah we had Egyptian life after death in history and it was one of my favourite parts in all honesty although the civilisation was quite hard there

Shes actually designed off the ancient egyptian godess or good demon, Ammit. From the book of the dead, so anciant warrior is actually very accurate.
