This time, the client wanted more emphasis on his catlike eyes. Still trying to focus on those shapes, and this time I took special care in seeing how everything reads at a glance. Basically, I spend a lot of hours painting these, so most of the time I tend to lose focus of what's important i.e the overall shape, the points of interest, etc, but I tried keeping everything as minimalist as possible, so that everything reads as it should.
You know me, elves are like my favorite thing, so this one was a blast!
