The mage kitty now has a name! We are calling him Maldwyn. It apparently means "brave friend" in old Welsh, so here's him being brave (yet very concerned) in some dark, likely wet place. He has a toyhou.se profile too , if you like to browse toyhou.se profiles.

Trying to draw a little more freely, more headshots and busts and experiment some more. My goal, especially in preparing for Art Fight, is to do one little art thing a day--sketching, lining, even just shading. I think I'm starting to manage. Plus, the jump between this piece and the first Maldwyn I did back in March is surprisingly large, especially their initial sketches (which I never posted). I really want to capitalize on that and make sure all the practice isn't going to waste on like two drawings a month.

Speaking of Art Fight! I'll be participating this year. I've yet to get around to updating my profile but here's that. Only a few lads, and only a few attacks from me, but that's still huge. I'm Bloom, which is not a surprise if you know me and my tendency towards flower crowns.
