Not really in the painting mood, but did this for a demonstration on the hair. Not really satisfied with it. Oh well. Ignore the background, it was a rush job.Reference used of a BoA photo found on the internet somewhere.

I think this is the best Boa you've done as of yet~! Be proud, it all came out really well. The only deal is the lighting, her skin doesn't look too natural. But overall an A ^_^

I think the hair looks absolutely beautiful. However, maybe thatβs because I dunno know how to draw hair like you at all. Her expression seems a bit melancholy and perhaps somewhat troubled. Even though I didnβt actually see the real picture of her Iβm gonna guess that the shading on her was done very accurately. I like those smooth colors you seem to being to your picture. Wonderful work!

Glad you like it. If you are interested, here is a [link] with some work in progress screenshots, and some explaination on how I painted the hair. As you can see, the finished product is still a bit rough to be declared done, but I didn't intend to refine it to this stage when I decided to paint this. I got a little carried away.
