Diego "Dio" Brando from Steel Ball Run (Part of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.)I knew I wanted to give a shot at coloring this panel, wayyyyy before I ever started reading SBR . . . ("BADASS BATSHIT FABULOUS MOE," indeed!)
Here's how the original scanlated page looked like before I got my grubby little hands on it:

I mostly stayed true to Hirohiko Araki's lines, but I did shift the jaw and change the ear a bit, to better fit my artistic habits . . .
There's a lot more that I could do, but I think I would rather start my own interpretation completely from scratch if I were going to spend more time.
So this was done fairly quickly for fun and education . . .
But I have to say: Oh god, Araki's skill! I'm honored to be alive at the same time as him!

Araki is a god nothing can change that and you have done good job here i like that you made dio so 'innocent' in pinks and grays^^!
that's certainly the best colouring i have seen.it's good you've changed anatomy a bit

D'aww. I always consider comments to be icing on the cake! It's enough that people visit- Extra special to get comments, but I'm so slow and spotty with my responses, I'm in no place to complain.
I'm glad you enjoyed this! And it's a big compliment to say the coloring is the best, wahoo!
I did have fun playing around with more pastel colors. I'm kind of a sucker for the pink interpretations of Dio's SBR clothes, but I do want to try other things sometime too.
And I definitely foresee more SBR art in the future! I'm finally all caught up and unable to contain myself as I wait for the next chapter.
