I didn't include links to Hatstack Joseph or Trish because THEY ARE SO BAD. I'll liquify the hell out of the hatstack one later (To be fair, the original image is also of gorillaman proportions- converting it to my style is all sorts of weird.) The Trish one . . . Well, I'd rather start something new.
When I'm serious about a work, I do it at 300dpi so that it can be printed. So if something's like 100 dpi, I consider it a sketch, even if it comes out quite well (like Fugo and Kakyoin.)
So 3 images on their you'll be seeing as their own deviations when they're done . . .
Also . . . I've already done one non-JJBA sketch. I'll put those into their own sketchdump collection. I want to upload at least one more JJBA image to my gallery because I've been thinking it would be cool if I had a whole page of this gallery to JJBA, ha ha. So that's one of the reasons you haven't seen me do many new non-JJBA stuff. Things will be shaken up shortly.

Ha ha, Mista was fun. He's a lot of fun to put in freak out modes. Kakyoin is someone I've been wanting to do for awhile too.

I really think Kakyoin is an under appreciated unsung hero of the series.
I think it would be awesome if Araki started a new arc with the Stardust Crusaders cast.
Unfortunately, after Jojolion showed up, it's obvious that any sort of continuity in the series is out the window after Stone Ocean.
It was fun following the Joestar Offspring, but continuity in JJBA is gone for good.

Lol, I think the characters went quite far . . . I don't feel like any part is lacking and I love that he's still happy to work on Jojo stuff- Especially after so many years! I think lots of artists would end up resenting a series after so long- But he must be keeping it new enough and fresh enough for himself to still be doing such a fab job.

Yeah. I'm kinda surprised, not too many people seem to like Kakyoin that much.
Maybe because he's outshined by Jotaro or Polnareff... or even Avdol.

Avdol was actually pretty popular back in Japan. As I understand it, he was originally going to die when Hol Horse shot him, but the fans didn't like that, so they brought him back by having him cheat death.

Oh, I'd heard that too! But there doesn't seem to be many people depicting him regularly on pixiv now- I can only think of one artist! (course, I'm also not keeping track of artwork of him like I do Dio, lol.)
