Description
24"x24"Oil on Canvas
I really struggled with this one. After my last painting, Emerging, was completed I rushed into this painting thinking that I could meld my more dominate style of textures with these wonderful cloudy, swirls. It didn't go as expected. I'm on to something with this style though, achieving an interesting depth. I'm going to be putting aside the textured work that I've been doing with the last dozen or so paintings and try to find my way into this more cloudy, swirl style that I achieved with my last painting. I'm not giving up the textures, mind you. I'm just taking a slight detour to explore the clouds a bit. Stay tuned!

Gorgeous! I find taking breaks usually helps restore some inspiration though.
