Heres a quick sketch of a character concept i'm workin on for the Joker. Heavilly inspired by the new batman cartoon. Jeff Matsuda's done a pretty interesting job with givin joker awesome dreads so I wanted to try my take on that version in a darker more semi-real style.Heres a link to Jeff's Designs for the new animated series

Just a wip for now folds, got a bunch o sketches but so far this one sorta stands out among the thumbs i've done. Nothing final at the moment will keep workin on it when I get free time. Not planning to rush this design since I wanna do this character some justice, and plan to model it out in 3d for my reel.

This piece is awsome...the loose style it has smacks of grafitti art (thats a complement) and then the facial details just blow me away. I like how you also added a bit of red on the nose I don't think it's been done for a joker character in any of the animated series. Plus it adds a complement to the green in the dreads. My only question is what program?

Tryin to go a diff direction with this one and still try to keep the essence o the joker maybe without the crazyface, a little darker version, I know it isn't successful yet, but i'll keep tryin. Will make it better next time, thz for the critiques and comments.
Heres a pic of the new joker done by a fellow pinoy and awesome comic artist. His clothes really r somethin like that I just colored and rendered em wrongly.
Really faithful to the original design of Jeff Matsuda, and he did a bangin job

haha, yeah, the pants do look green but it looks nice overall, i dont think it would be nice if it is in black, i dunno,cool man, it looks like some pro's work, i mean, you are pro..lol
