It's originally a lineart, but for some reason I am not satisfied with how I drew it so I opened Illustrator and traced/improved my piece.OK, so I finally finished this and it took me a long time, but I learned a couple of tricks in Ai which makes it worthwhile.
I'm having thoughts of making a colored version of this, but thinking of how it might look scattered with a lot of different colors, I decided to go mono...Oh, and this is just the right side of the whole piece.. damn, I need to stay away from Touhou games to finish the other half.. >_>

I know dat feel :> I used to do it with color, but I think in the end if you hold back on it and just use a few related colors and stay subtle people tend to be attracted more to pictures with less colors. maybe just something I observed... depends on the picture and the purpose though, I guess ^^
