These are so awesome!!! The third one over from the left's skirt reminds me of something....OH YEAH! I was bored and flipping through TV channels and I saw a skirt like that on Mad Fashion! It was made out of bras XD. It had that same crazy shape, although they stuck jewels on it and spray-painted it hot pink.

Yes! And I drew it before Gaga's Hussein Chalayan inspired version. I don't think I inspired her, but I think it's cool that I could actually make something like it if I had money the to make something so completely useless.

It's never too late to take a sewing class at Joann's or teach yourself ^.^ I had to teach myself to use a sewing machine, and I've come a LONG way!

I taught myself to knit online. The only thing really holding me back from sewing is that I just don't have the time to commit to learning it at this point. I've dabbled a bit too much, I think.
I will have to remain content with designing.

I like the ruffliness going straight down the side on the first one (and good color selection to contrast the green), and I see you did something similar with the second one. I'm digging the colors on it, and that head ornament is just way fun, although to me, I think the dress is a little too casual for such an elaborate accessory (I make no claim to being a fashionista though, heh). Number three's hair and face is my favorite, and number four is just-- what is going on?! If there was some sort of fabric that could get all bubbly like that, along with the hair, it'd be a real fun hit. The hair-do and the top (colors too) are already well-played.
So, yeehaw. Fun line up here.

I imagine her bubble dress being made out of lots of vinyl spheres filled with helium and tethered to some inner structure, like mesh. Not terribly safe, but very fun. You couldn't sit down, though.
the headdress was a whimsical touch, I agree, but I didn't want to lose any of that figure's weirdness.
