My entry for *Nazegoreng 's Plush Competition! 
Wow, I'm nervous about posting this. I'm VERY new to drawing ponies- ;3; lol
On the left, is Naze's OC, Cobalt Tangle~ A pony who's (subconsciously) afraid of being invisible in the skies... so muddies herself up to be visible... ; ) I think her backstory is quite cool.
My OC, Tale Spinner, is like a travelling bard/story teller. She tells stories through word or song. But that's her talent- tale spinning. She tries to make stories powerful and helpful in any way she can. So if she sees a pony in need, she can spin a yarn that'll bring their problems into perspective.
Originally, I thought Tale might try and help Cobalt- but Cobalt is so happy as is, so Tale wouldn't feel the need.
So Tale spins a little odyssey instead~ ;D
I imagine Cobalt came to her favourite mud puddle at sunrise, met Tale who was passing by (and was a little intrigued by the muddy pony) - then they both spent the day enjoying a good story.

The ability came to me quite strangely- since I wanted her originally to play saxophone- hehe XDD But in the end, I knew that's what she would be best at~

Though the saxophone would have been cool - i love what you ended up with! it's so perfect.
I never understood the ponies on the show playing instruments - they don't have any fingers!... but then again I suppose they have magic so that could help hehe

Oh, it's still around~ She's a bard~ There's gotta be music in there somewhere~~ ;D It has to be silver though- gold won't fit into her colour scheme XDD
Yeah- no, that confused me too~ Tale plays using her feathers- like fingers XDD haha She'll play music if it kills me!!
