Description
The first of "the Damned" series. Charcoal on paper, inverted. The paper wrinkles can represent some form of invisible fire that's consuming the figure. They are there by accident, but I like how there's more of them in the bottom.UPDATE: I rescanned the pic and then reload it because I liked how the original looked better and to make the invisible fire more visible.
This drawing first started out as a self portrait; but I feel this is a lot more emotional than my face.
Any comments greatly appreciated. Any ideas for improvement are welcome.

..Oooh, that is delightfully chilling. I definitely love the colours, and I like how there's a lot of blankspace towards the top, it makes it look like the figure is coming up from the bottom of the frame--or maybe falling. Verynice. ^_^

Oh my god, this is excellent! I love the expression and the teeth. The image is so striking with the white-on-black. Even though the subject is dark and macabre, the image itself is still very accessible and 'friendly' to look at.

thanks!! You're one of the few that don't see this image as threatning. He is completely helpless

Oh, fear !
That hand seem really dangerous
I like that mouth and the eyes
Look like he's really damned
The black and white is the perfect tone for this one
Good job !

If this started out as a self portrait you must have a weird head, JK. No really this is really cool. and i don't see the invisible fire.

oops... well that's the point of the invisible fire!! JK but if you look close enough you'll see some wrinkles on the paper.
I didn't like the self portrait, so I substituted it with a doodle I started in class
