as hard as it is to believe, this is one of the most docile vipers in the world; rarely even striking at foes and even allowing itself to be petted, but no one should ever do this unless they are expert herpetologists. magnificent shot. i doubt few can match that one.

seriously, gaboons are my absolute favorite viper and this is probably one of my favorite picture of one that i have ever seen
