This is a friend of mine, Jim.I did this pic of him a couple years ago after he passed away from cancer. He was a great guy, funny and with a great if slightly skewed outlook on life.
After hearing about his prognosis, he was calm and let people know he was anticipating the great adventure beyond this one.
I still miss him. And his way of putting all things in perspective.

good job. I like that you got the glasses reflection side of the head thing right. So many people just draw a head then add some glasses with out thinking about the distortion of the lens.
I like the detailing around the eyes.. the whole eye area really. I think you captured a lot of character there.
