Ironic?

My father said: "What an defacing hairstyle and clothes. Uh, how ugly. Every woman would look deformed with this."

"Dad, it's a man."

"Uh."

I mean as a study of lights and shadows xD
I don't care the way he's dressed, only if it's well shadowed...

not the excellsius excellence but not bad.

and I wanted to show some interest to not move it to scraps. People should know that you have some level at pencil apart from photography (or maybe not)

by the way, try, if you can againt to run skype ^^

This was telepathy, I didn't read your message before I started Skype...

I think my drawings are worse than my photos, that's why I move them to scraps at the moment. But maybe I'll steal a graphic-tablet which is in my reach and try...
D.A. is so motivating somehow

xD oh, maybe there is a conection

Maybe have a tablet is not the best solution (maybe, it depends) since when you go traditional you can have a better experience doing it and working with the material, pencil or brush (specially the brush).

But even when your drawings can be worse than your photos they can be useful to "understand" somethings that a photo is harder to see (and viceversa, photography helps drawing xD)

and yeah, DA is kind a way of getting motivation when you meet other people that shows their stuff... and you can reach them (for example, one of my more motivating person: how wonderful watercolours and how beautiful person...

I like the real colours too, sometimes I paint abstract things with acrylic on canvas, but it never looks like it should when I scan it or take a photo...

About photos and drawings, you're totally right, and from there there are also some parallels to writing.

try with levels and colour modification with Photoshop or in the settings of your scan

I'd very glad of seeing your acrylic works ^^

Reminds me of Marilyn Manson Nice study. I think it's realistic, how the light fells (I'm pretty sure I can't say it this way...), but in my opinion the shadows on the face are a bit too light.
