Description An NGS experiment.  It does fine by the skin, but can anyone tell me:

1: why the heck her teeth are black

2) how to make her more tanned, and

3) how the heck to make her veins pop up?  I've seen this from other artists, the veins just bulge up and look huge, why can't I do that?

What render engine are you using and what shader is the teeth?

DAZ-iRay, and the same shader as everything else, NGS anagenesis 2.

One of the shaders I'm not familiar with sadly.  I can tell you or give you a shader setting for white teeth with the standard uber iray shader.  As others have said popping veins would be controlled either by a HD vein morph, bump maps, displacement maps or normal maps. It all depends on what the shaders supports.

I fail to see how you were forced to look at it.  It was headed under "muscle" "Femalemuscle" etc, featured in Female Muscle and DA Amazons, you might have gotten a clue about it before you looked.  In other words, if you don't like it, you are cordially invited to lump it.

I tend to block people like that. I welcome CONSTRUCTIVE criticism ("this image is good but not up to your regular standards", "this image could be made better by", "how about if you", etc) but just to show up and put something down is just not right. And if they don't like my stuff, I do them a favor and block them so they don't have to look at my stuff in the future.

To avoid dark teeth you can go to the surfaces tab, find the teeth and set Ambient Light to white 20%, also check the Diffuse color is white. If this doesn't work try increasing Ambient Light to 30% and so on.

To make her tanned you'll need the right textures, do you have specular maps set for all bosy parts? check the surface tab for this. I'd suggest using textures by Mihrelle at Renderosity, they always come with proper specular and bump maps.

So I'm guessing you are using genesis 2 or 3 right? Well the veins don't show up unless you change the subdivision level to 2 or 3 on the character. Will warn you though that it does render quite a bit slower when doing that. That's how I get veins to work using the morphs.

OK, uh-- how do I change the subdivision level?

Parameters tab and then the model's name followed by mesh resolution. You should see something that says Subdivision level. You may need to take off the limits to pump it up to 3 though and also make sure your PC can handle subdivision 2 before going to 3

IMHO displacement and bump maps are used for vascularity and muscle detail, that is completely unrelated to subdivision level or the figure being used.

I suggest you search for "V4 Jinn" at daz3d and "Ripped for Genesis" at renderosity, those packages provide displacement and bump maps that you can add to the surface tab.

(*) Genesis 2-3 has a type of vascularity that you can dial, and that specific feature might work with subdivision.

As for making the skin look darker, use the NGS options to reduce lighting; I'm not absolutely positive that it will have the tanning effect you're looking for, but it's probably a step in the right direction. As for increasing veins, that's something I'd like to learn, as well. I'm guessing using the vascularity morphs and then turning off the limits, but it's just a guess.
